The Get On Board Webinars are a series of six one-hour monthly webinars from January 18, 2024 to June 20, 2024. Each webinar runs from noon to 1 p.m. (MDT).
This opportunity helps new school board members accelerate their learning and prepare for productive service on their board. Topics covered are:
- January 18 - Requirements, Responsibilities, and Relationships as a School Board Member
- February 15 - Essential Roles of School Boards
- March 21 - Basics of School Law
- April 18 - Basics of School Finance
- May 16 - Making a Difference for Students
- June 20 - Making Sense of Student Achievement Data
Your registration includes a complimentary New Board Member Packet, valued at $200, if you purchase the full webinar series package. This training opportunity is eligible for $50 reimbursement per webinar through the SDE if attended live.
